Madison Westbrook
In a world where care can feel clinical and impersonal, I offer something different: genuine connection wrapped in deep empathy and intentional presence. My practice isn’t about one-size-fits-all solutions; it’s about meeting you where you are, with care that’s as human as it is healing. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or simply trying to keep up with daily responsibilities, life can feel overwhelming. These struggles can weigh heavily, and facing them alone often feels isolating and exhausting. As a therapist, I understand how difficult it can be to take that first step toward healing. My role is to walk alongside you with support and compassion, helping you explore your experiences, build resilience, and move toward a more grounded and fulfilling life.
Insurance: United Healthcare and Aetna. I can provide a superbill to help with deductibles and reimbursement.
More About Me
In our work together, you’re in the driver’s seat. I use a client-directed approach, which means I follow your lead and work at your pace. You’ll always have control over where we go and how we get there. Our conversations are guided by what feels most important to you, and I’m here to support you with tools that fit your unique needs. I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Adlerian therapy, to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. We’ll also use mindfulness and meditation practices to help you stay grounded in the present moment, especially when life feels chaotic. These techniques can be powerful in quieting a busy mind and creating space for clarity, healing, and growth.
I have experience working with teens and adults suffering with a variety of concerns including interpersonal, relationship, grief, transitions, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I listen with an empathetic ear and deep compassion to help you explore your inner thoughts and outer behaviors and make the necessary changes you are having trouble implementing.
My ultimate goal as your therapist is to support you in building a stronger, more grounded relationship with yourself. Through our work together, I hope to help you develop greater emotional regulation, increase your resilience in the face of life’s challenges, and deepen your self-awareness. Along the way, we’ll work toward cultivating a stronger sense of identity and self-esteem, empowering you to live with more clarity, purpose, and alignment with your values. Healing is not always a straight path, but you don’t have to walk it alone. I’m here to walk beside you every step of the way.
I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and diversities, especially the LGBTQIA+ communities.
